Reading & Writing (Elementary–Middle School)

Building strong foundations in reading and writing sets students up for long-term success. I help children develop fluency, comprehension, grammar, and creative expression through engaging, hands-on activities. Lessons are tailored to each student’s learning style—whether that means practicing sentence structure with games, exploring new vocabulary through stories, or building confidence in reading aloud. For middle schoolers, we focus on strengthening paragraph writing, supporting ideas with evidence, and transitioning smoothly into essay skills.

Essay Writing & Editing

Strong essays open doors—not just in school, but also in life. I work with students to develop their voice, organize their ideas, and refine their writing so it’s clear, polished, and powerful. Whether it’s a middle school book response, a high school research paper, or a college application essay, I guide students through every stage of the process: brainstorming, outlining, drafting, revising, and final editing. The goal is not only stronger essays, but also greater confidence and independence as a writer.

Visual Art

Art is one of the most powerful ways for students to express themselves and build confidence. In my art lessons, students explore drawing, painting, and mixed-media projects that encourage creativity and personal style. I guide them through techniques while also giving space for experimentation, so they can discover their own artistic voice. Whether a child wants to strengthen fine motor skills, develop focus through detailed projects, or simply enjoy the joy of creating, art becomes a tool for growth, expression, and self-confidence.
