Learning should feel exciting, creative, and confidence-building—and that’s exactly what I bring to every lesson. For over 14 years, I’ve worked with students across California in public, private, and charter schools, and for the last 5 years, I’ve dedicated myself to private tutoring for grades K–12. I specialize in strengthening reading and writing skills, building confidence in visual art, and creating learning strategies that bring out the best in each child.
I hold a Master’s in Teaching from Chapman University, along with a multiple-subject teaching credential for K–12. Over the years, I’ve helped students raise their grades by as much as two letters in a single semester, but what excites me most is watching them grow in confidence and curiosity. I also have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent learners, including students with ADHD and autism, tailoring lessons to meet their unique needs and learning styles.
My approach is hands-on, interactive, and personalized. Whether we’re mapping ideas with colorful visuals, tackling grammar through games, or weaving a student’s own interests into reading practice, I make sure learning feels engaging and meaningful. I believe every student learns best when they feel connected—not only to the material, but also to their teacher. That’s why I take the time to truly know my students, building strong partnerships with both them and their families.
If you’re looking for a tutor who will meet your child exactly where they are, spark their curiosity, and help them shine, I’d love to work with you!
