Learning should feel exciting, creative, and confidence-building—and that’s exactly what I bring to every lesson. For over 14 years, I’ve worked with students across California in public, private, and charter schools, and for the last 5 years, I’ve dedicated myself to private tutoring for grades K–12. I specialize in strengthening reading and writing skills, guiding students through essay writing and editing, building confidence in visual art, and creating learning strategies that bring out the best in each child.
I hold a Master’s in Teaching from Chapman University, along with a multiple-subject teaching credential for K–12. Over the years, I’ve helped students raise their grades by as much as two letters in a single semester, but what excites me most is watching them grow in confidence and curiosity. I also have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent learners, including students with ADHD and autism, tailoring lessons to meet their unique needs and learning styles.
My approach is hands-on, interactive, and personalized. Whether we’re mapping ideas with colorful visuals, tackling grammar through games, or weaving a student’s own interests into reading practice, I make sure learning feels engaging and meaningful. I believe every student learns best when they feel connected—not only to the material, but also to their teacher. That’s why I take the time to truly know my students, building strong partnerships with both them and their families.
If you’re looking for a tutor who will meet your child exactly where they are, spark their curiosity, and help them shine, I’d love to work with you!
